Neoware Studios to Close Down in Oviedo Mall

We’re very sad to announce that Neoware Studios, the coworking studio in the Oviedo (Florida) mall, will be closing down after two years of operation.

Neoware Studios from the outsideRight now, the company is dealing with several issues that affect our operations. Rather than fight them while staving off the inevitable, we decided to cut our losses all at once, like yanking off a Band-Aid.

So we’re going to close, regroup, and move our operations to a different location.

While we recognize this is the end of our place at the mall, we don’t believe that this is the end of retail-based coworking or coworking in suburban Orlando. We’re already working on securing a new operation with a change to our business model. We can’t go into too many details yet, but we hope to have news for everyone soon.

We have loved being a part of the Oviedo-Winter Springs business community. We’ve met some amazing people and we appreciate all of our past tenants and supporters here at Neoware Studios.

We’ve worked with a number of web developers, computer programmers, remote customer service reps, and software development companies. We count these entrepreneurs and small business leaders as our friends and our lives are better for having known each of you.

Inside Neoware StudiosWe’ve also gotten to know our wonderful mayor, Megan Sladek, and the president of the Oviedo-Winter Springs Chamber of Commerce, Bridget Lake. And we’ve gotten to know the issues (and dreams) of our fellow local business owners.

This may be the end of Neoware Studios in the mall, but this is not the end of our vision and our plans. We’re still working out the details, but we’ll let you know what they are as soon as possible.

With tons of love,

Team Neoware

  • Sorry to hear you closing the doors. Being a member there was certainly a good choice for my professional development and career. The location was perfect for a developing/freelance worker. The Neoware team was helpful and positive.
